Essential Tour Information
To ensure you have the best experience during your Chitwan Safari, please take note of the following details:
What to Pack
Clothing: Neutral-colored clothing (greens, browns, or khakis) is recommended to blend in with the environment. Avoid bright colors like red or white which can distract the wildlife.
Footwear: Comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots for the jungle walk.
Essentials: Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, insect repellent, and a camera with extra batteries.
Best Time to Visit
While Chitwan is beautiful year-round, the best time for wildlife sightings is from October to March, when the skies are clear. April and May are also excellent for those who don’t mind the heat, as animals frequently gather at water holes.
Wildlife Encounters
Chitwan is home to over 500 species of birds, the endangered One-horned Rhinoceros, and the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. While our guides are experts at tracking, wildlife sightings are subject to nature and luck.
