Detailed Itinerary: Your Journey Into the Wild
Day 1: Arrival, Tharu Heritage & Golden Sunsets
Your adventure begins with a warm welcome at your jungle lodge. After a traditional Nepali lunch, we head out for a Tharu Village Tour. Discover the unique mud-walled architecture and the resilient history of the “People of the Forest.” As the day ends, enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the Rapti River, followed by an energetic Tharu Stick Dance performance.
Day 2: Deep Jungle Exploration & Jeep Safari
The highlight of your trip! Start with a serene canoe ride to spot mugger and gharial crocodiles basking on the banks. Follow your naturalist on a guided jungle walk to track wildlife footprints. After lunch, hop into an open-top 4×4 for a Jeep Safari, venturing deeper into the park’s core zones to find leopards, sloth bears, and the iconic rhinoceros.
Day 3: Birdwatcher’s Paradise & Farewell
Wake up to the symphony of the jungle. Chitwan is home to over 500 bird species. Join an early morning birdwatching session to spot Giant Hornbills and Kingfishers before enjoying your final breakfast. We then assist with your transfer back to Kathmandu or Pokhara.
