Things to Know Before Joining the Tour
Step into the heart of Thai culture with this immersive day trip just outside Bangkok. Yes, it’s packed with tourists these days, but the markets still showcase traditional methods of selling goods from boats and along railway tracks. This tour combines local charm, vibrant markets, and unforgettable scenery.
Your adventure begins with a scenic journey through the countryside on a local train. Watch rural life unfold as you travel towards one of Thailand’s most unusual markets. Upon arriving at the Maeklong Railway Market, you’ll stay on the train and walk right through the middle of the market. Just before the train arrives, vendors pull back their umbrellas and goods, revealing the tracks below. Then, you can stand on the railway tracks as the spectacle repeats itself and the train passes just a few centimeters away. It’s a truly thrilling and rare experience to witness.
From there, you’ll travel to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, one of Thailand’s most colorful and vibrant locations. Cruise through the narrow canals in a traditional motorboat with a longtail, and you’ll not only explore the market but also pass by tranquil local villages and witness daily life along the canal. Along the way, you’ll see boats laden with fresh tropical fruits, local snacks, souvenirs, and handmade crafts. End your adventure with some free time to explore the market at your own pace.
This tour is a perfect blend of culture, excitement, and authentic Thai life. Book now and enjoy a truly unique journey through two of Thailand’s most iconic destinations.
