Embark on a wildlife safari in Kui Buri National Park. See wild elephants, gaurs, and leopards in their natural habitat. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Wild Elephant Safari: Kui Buri National Park Adventure from Hua Hin

Experience the thrill of a real-life safari at Kui Buri National Park, widely considered the best place in Thailand to witness wild elephants in their natural habitat. Home to a thriving population of over 320 wild elephants, this conservation success story offers a rare glimpse into the lives of these majestic giants far away from the crowds.

An Authentic Wildlife Experience

Your journey begins with a comfortable pickup from your hotel in Hua Hin or Cha-Am. Upon arrival at the park, you will board an open-air 4WD safari vehicle operated by expert local rangers. This ensures a low-impact, sustainable experience that respects the animals’ space while providing you with the best vantage points.

Into the Wild: 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM

As the afternoon sun begins to dip, the forest comes alive. This is the peak time for wildlife activity. Navigate through the stunning dry-moist forest ecosystem and keep your binoculars ready for:

  • The Giants: While there is a 95% chance of sightings, every day is different. You may see a lone bull or a large family herd grazing just a few hundred meters away.

  • The Rare Gaur: Look out for the world’s largest wild cattle, often seen grazing in the open meadows.

  • Birdwatcher’s Paradise: Spot vibrant species like the Crested Fireback, the brilliant Indian Roller, and the elegant Asian Openbill.

  • Elusive Predators: If you are incredibly lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of a leopard or golden jackal.

Sunset Dinner & Local Flavors

After your safari, we head to a charming local Thai restaurant. Relax and share your photos and stories over an authentic dinner, immersing yourself in the local culture before we head back. You will return to your hotel between 8:00 PM and 8:30 PM with memories that will last a lifetime.
